Why Train With Katie?

When you workout with me, you should expect to sweat, laugh and learn.

I love to work out and I want you to love it too. I have been an athlete for most of my life; I played soccer, softball, squash and tennis, and swam competitively. I am a triathlete and yogi, and I’m always looking for fun, new activities to incorporate into my own fitness training. Having had my own personal trainer for years, I know how helpful it is to have someone cheering you on and giving you guidance.

I work with people of all ages and abilities and know the importance of maintaining a healthy weight and diet. I am certified in the Functional Movement Screen, Strong First Kettlebell instruction, and I am a NASM certified Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor. I focus on the use of the core body to initiate movement with proper structural alignment. It is a great pleasure for me to inspire others to enjoy exercise, and to see them gain confidence and take responsibility for their health.
